Delicious, natural and sustainable. This is Cordusio, the made-in-Italy red berry aperitif that is 100 per cent natural and delights with a complex blend of flavours for a unique taste experience.
Cordusio, an Italian-Made Aperitif
Crafted from locally sourced and sustainably produced botanicals, Cordusio has the requirements to be recognised as a B Corp benefit corporation thanks to its social and environmental commitment. «Cordusio is balanced, intense and fresh. Made from freshly harvested ingredients, it is unique in the world of Italian spirits. Not only because of its sweet and zesty citrus notes or its unmistakable flavour profile with a bittersweet finish. It’s also unique for its holistic approach to sustainability», explains Daniela Garcea who, as Global Brand Activator of Cordusio, has overseen the company’s growth.
Originating in 2023 from the idea of its founder Chris Tanca, with the aim of creating a superior-quality alternative to other aperitif products on the market, the brand is named after the historic piazza in Milan. After its success in Italy, Cordusio has expanded to Norway, Greece, Cyprus, Denmark and Switzerland, and has its sights set on the rest of Europe, as well as other continents. Also thanks to Tanca’s entrepreneurial acumen. «Due to its high and consistent sustainability standards, Cordusio has the credentials to be certified as a B Corp». Italy has only about 50 firms recognised in the sector.
Why a B Corp Certification Matters
«It takes concrete and lasting efforts to be certified by the non-profit B Lab. Reaching this milestone will confirm our conscious commitment to increasingly tangible ethical business growth. We have a great responsibility towards people and the environment. Through our actions we promote high values in terms of inclusion, diversity and sustainability», concludes Garcea. For Cordusio, this is just the starting point.
