As dusk falls over Florence and the city’s lights flicker to life, the bustling tourist crowds make way for the subtle hum of night-dwellers. This is when Faramarz Poosty, General Manager of Locale Firenze, truly comes alive. Far from being just a guardian of nightlife, he’s an alchemist of experiences. Nighttime is a magical refuge,” Fara says, his eyes shining, a well-known figure in the city. “It’s a realm where people come to shed the day’s burdens. Our task is to turn these hours into moments that linger long after dawn.”
Fara’s love for nightlife runs deep. He first arrived in Italy from Iran at 14, and he quickly found in the evening hours not just work but a profound calling. “My earliest professional steps were at Beccafico,” he recalls with a nostalgic smile. “It was electrifying – the wild dancing with Chanel models, icons like Tom Ford as regulars, my friendship with the venue manager, who seemed to enchant everyone. Those early experiences, at just 20, confirmed what I had always sensed: nightlife was where I truly belonged.”

This infectious passion radiates through Locale Firenze’s nightly transformation, which Fara describes with enthusiasm: “At 7:30 p.m., the air is filled with pure elegance. The music is a whisper. Then, like a perfectly orchestrated dance, the mood shifts. By 11, the rhythm intensifies, the music swells, and the lights dim. Midnight arrives, and it’s as though an enchanting spell has been cast: people crave celebration, connection, freedom.”
For Faramarz Poosty, though, the true magic lies in the nuances. “Crafting the perfect night is a fine art,” he says. “A rhythm that wraps around you gently, a service that makes you feel uniquely special. There’s room to move, to breathe, to laugh with friends without shouting, even as the music pulses around you. It’s a delicate balance, and when you achieve it, it’s pure poetry.”
Carefree Spirit and Authenticity
After 2020, a new spark ignited in Fara. “We saw people return with an incredible hunger for life,” he shares, visibly moved. “They wanted carefree moments, authenticity. We understood it was time to take a bold step, to offer something truly meaningful.” This revelation sparked a profound reimagining of what the future of nightlife could be. “There’s a world out there dreaming of a truly elevated night experience,” Fara shares, offering just a glimpse of his latest project.
