Italy’s Best at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024

Italy had a unique year on the list. Our standout bars made it with impressive placements, starting from the last spot and moving up. Milan’s 1930 landed in 50th place, while Moebius entered at 38th, bringing its creative flair. Locale Firenze in Florence secured 36th place, and Drink Kong in Rome – always a crowd favorite – took 33rd with its rock ‘n’ roll vibe and premium cocktails.

And let’s not forget the Italian mixology stars shining abroad. Leading the charge were Agostino Perrone and Giorgio Bargiani at Connaught Bar in London, placing 13th. Giacomo Giannotti kept Paradiso in Barcelona at 10th, while Simone Caporale and partner Marc Álvarez hit 3rd with Sips. But the night’s standout? Lorenzo Antinori, whose Bar Leone in Hong Kong captured the 2nd spot.
