Just a stone’s throw from Piazza di S. Martino ai Monti, Rome played host to an unforgettable night brimming with good vibes. Nite Kong welcomed a curated guest list for a soirée celebrating La Notte and the leading lights of mixology.
Between January 14th and 15th, this intimate gem of Roman hospitality became the stage for the launch of the third edition of Coqtail – for fine drinkers, the magazine that champions the culture of fine drinking. Inspired by the enigmatic allure of nightfall, the event carried on with an exclusive after-party at Rem Trastevere, offering a perfect finale for night owls.
A Night to Remember
This new issue of Coqtail delves into the essence of the night, brought to life at an event that turned its pages into a living experience. Nestled in a cozy corner of Rome, the Nite Kong—born from the brilliance of Patrick Pistolesi’s renowned Drink Kong—opened its doors at 10:30 PM on January 14th. The occasion saw mixology masters and handpicked guests sharing unique moments and stories into the early hours.
A Drink List Honoring Coqtail – for fine drinkers

No event like this would be complete without a tailored drink list. Crafted by Pistolesi and Alice Musso, Bar Manager at Drink Kong, the menu featured three bespoke creations, each capturing the essence of Rome at night.
The Canova delivered a refreshing blend of Altamura Vodka, thyme, rosemary, basil, a touch of vinegar, and a black olive cordial, transporting guests into a realm of bold, fresh flavors. The Red Rêverie paid homage to dreams and illusions with Bonollo 1908’s OF Dorange liqueur, Mancino Vermouth Chinato, Amaro Lucano, and maraschino.
Lastly, the Kremes brought elegance and joy together with Cordusio Aperitivo, a red berry cordial, and citrus tonic. For those who prefer a neat pour, the drink list also featured OF Amarone Barrique by Bonollo 1908.
A Journey Back to Coqtail’s Roots

Coqtail’s journey through Italy has been a celebration of cocktails and storytelling, with events that brought the magazine to life in cities like Milan, Venice, Florence, and Turin. Yet, it’s in Rome where the magic of the Eternal City truly aligns with the magazine’s ethos. Hosting Coqtail not once but twice, Rome reaffirmed its status as a nightlife legend with an event that has already gone down in the city’s bar scene history.
The Very Late After-Party

Why Rome again? Because when the sun sets and tourists retreat, the city’s true character emerges, revealing a nightlife scene like no other. On January 14th, Nite Kong stood out as a beacon for the nocturnal elite, offering an exclusive space where the early hours come alive.
From 3 AM to 5 AM on January 15th, Rem Trastevere took center stage, combining genius, fun, and conviviality. Its vibrant atmosphere became the perfect setting for those seeking signature Cordusio cocktails and the kind of unforgettable moments only the night can offer.
