For many, September feels like the start of a new year — and what better way to kick it off than by attending some top-notch cocktail events?
23 – 29 September, Amalfi Coast Cocktail Week
Mixology enthusiasts can’t miss the week in Campania dedicated to quality drinking. Among the many highlights of this first edition, taking place in the Amalfi Coast’s best cocktail bars, the programme includes the presentation of the new magazine Coqtail – for fine drinkers. When? On 27 September at the Miramalfi design hotel.
28 – 30 September, Spiritosa Festival
The Spiritosa festival kicks off in September at Castello Volante in Corigliano D’Otranto, in the province of Lecce. The three-day event, dedicated to spirits, bubbly, craft beers, wines, sodas and natural beverages, is a journey celebrating the world of bars and hospitality. There will also be live music and DJ sets.
28 – 30 September, Whisky Live Paris
Now in its 20th year, Whisky Live Paris celebrates whisky, rum, and a variety of other spirits. Since its founding in 2004, this Parisian event has grown in size and importance, now attracting visitors from all over the world. Held at the Grande Halle de la Villette, it’s one of the biggest spirits events globally, featuring tastings and special events.
29 September – 4 October, Salonica Bar Week
Starting with a grand opening party, the Salonica Bar Show is dedicated to the whole cocktail world. Among master classes and meetings with international personalities, there will be plenty of occasions to enjoy spirits and drinks created by mixology professionals also during the Salonica Bar Week.
Spirits and Cocktail Events in October 2024
October is when Europe’s major cities become the epicenter of high-quality mixology, with iconic events taking center stage. And this year, Madrid joins the party with some of the world’s best cocktail bars.
3–13 October, London Cocktail Week
Now in its 15th year, London Cocktail Week remains the pioneer of mixology events, catering not only to the industry but also to consumers eager for quality cocktails. All you need to join in is a wristband and a plan to hit up the participating venues and events across the city.
14 – 16 October, Bar Convent Berlin
This year, the German trade show brings the best of international mixology to Berlin. From 14 to 16 October, industry professionals can celebrate the latest trends in the new worldwide liquid culture with master classes, events and tastings of key products for the bar industry. There will also be a new special area dedicated to the world of wine.
22 October, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024
Madrid becomes the epicentre of mixology. For the first time, the Spanish capital is hosting the awards ceremony of the World’s 50 Best Bars. Now in its 16th edition, the event is scheduled for 22 October and promises to provide a special prizegiving experience. Launched in 2009, the ranking has celebrated hundreds of bars and has so far travelled from London to Barcelona and Singapore.
Mixology Events in November 2024
November is all about one of the most highly anticipated events for the bar industry: the Athens Bar Show, packed with educational moments and the chance to meet industry legends from around the world.
5 – 6 November, Athens Bar Show
Like every year, Technopolis is the venue for the Athens Bar Show, the festivity-filled fair devoted to professionals from the bartending, restaurant and hospitality sectors. For the second year, the classic annual event is joined by Athens Bar Week, which involves the city’s bars, pop-up bars and fine dining establishments in a party that also continues outside the show.
