The lineup is as impressive as the setting. Over the course of four days, guests can experience eighteen exclusive events spread across twenty venues. The official press release teases an exciting mix of international guest shifts, après-ski pop-ups in igloos, dance lunches on the slopes, art exhibitions, high-altitude brunches, a high-stakes cocktail competition, and a closing party that will keep St. Moritz dancing until late into the night.

Luxury Hospitality Meets High-End Mixology

Founder Annalisa Testa is clear about the event’s ambition: “St. Moritz Cocktail Week is deeply rooted in the region, with incredible potential to grow year after year. It’s becoming a benchmark for those who seek the pinnacle of luxury hospitality and world-class mixology. The bar counter will be our stage, where the art of cocktail making takes center stage, delivering an experience built on creativity, flavor, and refined conviviality.”

This year’s theme, A Work of Art, challenges bartenders to approach cocktails as true artistic expressions, delivering multi-sensory experiences.

The highlight of the event? A fierce cocktail competition, where bartenders must create a signature drink inspired by a work of art, whether Swiss or international. A top-tier panel of judges will taste and score their creations, including Riccardo Caione (head bartender at Salmon Guru), Penelope Vaglini (co-founder of Coqtail – for fine drinkers & Academy Chair for The World’s 50 Best Bars), Davide Diaferia (former key player at Drink Kong and Nite Kong in Rome), and Dirk Hany (owner of Bar am Wasser in Zurich).

Since the event is all about art, there’s a special treat in store: The Roth Bar, a fully functional art bar designed by Björn, Oddur, and Einar Roth, the son and grandsons of Dieter Roth (1930-1998). To top it off, visitors will also get to admire a rare self-portrait of the late artist.

Who’s Attending?

St. Moritz Cocktail Week 2025 has an impressive guest list. Some of the most prestigious hotels, restaurants, and bars in the Engadin region will be taking part, along with an exclusive exhibition curated by artist Sonja Riemer.

In addition to those mentioned earlier, expect to see Wolfgang Mayer (Bars Director at the Widder Hotel, Zurich), Nikos Bakoulis (co-owner of Line Athens), Ludwig Negri (Bar Manager at Arts Bar, Venice), and Andrew Sutton (No Idea, Zurich).

Collaborations will take center stage with Nathalie Tran and Kostas Gerakaris (Ory Bar, Munich) teaming up with Riccardo Caione and Cesar Alfaro (Salmon Guru, Madrid) for some spectacular four-hands guest shifts.

Also joining the action is Omar Vesentini, winner of the Como Lake Cocktail Week 2024, alongside the team from Morgana Lounge Bar, one of Sicily’s leading cocktail destinations. They’ll also be announcing a new Cocktail Week edition, set to land in Taormina from October 2 to 5, 2025, once again under the leadership of Annalisa Testa.
